  • Also allows you to send back to Raw to Fix (edit).
  • Tip: New Post allows you to create your own post on the fly. Just add your headline, text, and an image if you have one.
  • Hint: You can create your own image using Canva.com Just create a post, share it via email, open it, right click to get the image URL and past into Image in the Custom Post. Sounds hard, but do it once and you’re a pro.

1st Tasting. Content that’s been shared 1x to your pre-set group of social networks. Why: It worked once, try it again!

  • This time you’re also sharing to extra networks, for example, LinkedIn.
  • Tip: Now is a great time to ‘Fix’ and add a # or call out the Twitter or Facebook handle of an influencer whose radar you want to be on!

2nd Tasting.
Stories with high scores in 2nd Tasting are quadruple-filtered!

Hit ‘Cook’ and you will be able to add a title, assign a writer, set a deadline and most important…..Add your unique perspective on why this story is important. You’re not writing it. You’re telling the things you like about it, and why it is relevant to your audience. Click Submit and it creates a rough draft that is read for a writer to attack. If you the Carnivores team is writing, you don’t need to do anything.

Cooking. If you or your team are writing, you can always access a story-in-progress from Cooking. Just click ‘Edit’ to open the story link and check progress, write or edit. If you just want to add a thought or a link, click ‘Comment’ and you can add without going to the story. When the story is read for publishing, the workflow assigns to the designated poster. this varies per program.

Done. For us the work is never ‘Done’ but some stories have run their course. We are Done with them when they have been shared multiple times, have passed their expiration date (figuratively speaking), or just weren’t up to our standards for whatever reason. Tip: Sometimes you want to share a story you thought was Done. Hit ‘Reheat’ and it will be sent back to Ready. Or, you sent something to Done and want it back. Hit ‘Restore’. Don’t worry about ALL DONE here. We take care of that after we do a little machine learning on what you liked, what was shared and what you sent to Done.
